PUMA is set to celebrate the upcoming 2014 Chinese New Year with the release of this “Year of the Horse” pac featuring its two most popular and iconic silhouettes – the PUMA Suede and PUMA Suede Mid. The kicks feature lush suede uppers in richly-colored orange copper and chocolate brown hues. The Chinese symbol for horse (‘馬’) can be seen embroidered on the tongue as well as etched on a wooden chess piece that hangs on the eyelet. The Chinese chessboard-inspired design on the special edition shoe box was a nice touch. Releases January 1 at PUMA and select sneaker boutiques across Asia-Pacific.
