As part of the collaborative “City of Gold” project from sneaker boutique Shelflife and South African designer Dr.Z, this latest pair of New Balance 574s seeks inspiration from the vibrant city of Johannesburg. The snazzy kicks feature mesh, nubuck, and pigskin suede on the upper, reflective 3M paneling, bright yellow lace tips with matching lace jewels, finished off by a speckled sole. Additional goodies include multiple laces, a canvas carrying bag, and a custom keyring. Debuts at Shelflife on April 17, before hitting additional retailers around the world on April 28.
