In some really odd news today, Taylor Swift's PR department scooped up the domain for 'ITaughtTaylorSwiftToGiveHead.com.' If you're wondering why, join the club, because this is as weird as it gets.


Here's proof of the domain registry:


"MarkMonitor, the brand protection domain name registrar that works with Swift’s management company, registered a couple domain names since that story [about her guitar teacher] broke."

But why would she buy up a domain like that? The New York Daily News reported that her company discovered a website registered to Ronnie Cremer (Taylor Swift's former guitar teacher) called 'ITaughtTaylorSwift.com' and its under fire saying that the domain name incorporates the famous Taylor Swift trademark in its entirety and suggests sponsorship or endorsement. The Domain Name and your use of the Domain Name are also highly likely to dilute, and to tarnish, the famous Taylor Swift trademark.

It looks like her company is trying to buy up all kinds of things with 'Taylor Swift' in it.
