The levitating rug isn't magic. But we're not so sure if your dog would think otherwise. It makes use of six sets of neodymium magnets, and is currently able to support a pet weighing 5lbs up to 3 inches. But when Swiss retailer MiCasa is done tinkering with it, they're going to make it hold 22lbs up to 8 inches high.

The carpet is just one of the innovative products coming out of MiCasa. It won't be commercial so soon yet, but imagine if they could do this to make the Hover board possible. [Wired]
