Like every "special day", you can expect a Google Doodle for that. Today is Earth Day and Google is marking it with a lively animated Google Doodle.
Earth Day was first celebrated 40 years ago and it recognizes environmental awareness. In the doodle, there are swimming fish, animals in caves, a rising and setting sun and moon and flowers that look like the letter G.
You can click to interact with the various areas, or simply watch it all play out over and over again. A click on Google's search icon will take you to a treasure trove of information about Earth Day.
