Handing a kid a stylus to use with an iPad can mean a whole lot of scratching on the surface of the device. That's why Griffin's Crayola Light Marker for the iPad might be a big draw, simply because it allows the young to draw just by moving their hands in the air.
Unveiled at the 2013 CES, the battery operated stylus looks just like a white Crayola crayon and will be able to sense hand movement when waved and displays pattern as artwork on the iPad. There's a free Light Marker App too which features the assortment of coloring pages, tools and more needed for it to work.
The front facing camera on the iPad will detect movements made with the stylus so users can stand back and just wave it in the air with their hand.
