This sounds sad but it's all too true. Many mothers suffer from seriously long droughts. 32 percent of moms admit they go a few years without having sex.
The recent survey by Family Circle asked 553 mothers with at least one child to reveal the longest they've gone without sex. In addition to those who went years without sex, 36 percent had gone a few months without sex. 27 percent had gone a few weeks, and only five percent had gone a few days without getting any action.
It however wasn't clear how many of these ladies were single moms, which could explain some of the longer dry spells.
It's not uncommon to put sex at the bottom of the list of priorities when you're a busy parent, but holding off sex for years can be detrimental to a relationship or marriage. So instead of blaming your busy schedule, perhaps this study is a stark reminder of why you should make sex somewhat a priority in your relationship.
