Have you ever been to a petting zoo? Too scared perhaps? This one here is extremely safe, because it is a robotic petting zoo.

London-based architecture and design studio Minimaforms created "Petting Zoo", which is populated by robots. These electronic creatures learn and exhibit different behaviors based on their interactions with people and they use Kinects for tracking and awareness.

They also have multiple camera streams to identify people's positions and gestures as they move around the petting zoo space.
