This Table Will Learn Your Sitting Habits, And Count The Calories You Burned

Sitting is ruining our bodies and irreparably destroying our backs too. There have been many "solutions" that are now beginning to address this real concern. Will this new desk be the end of a sedentary life?
Called Stir, it is a new "kinectic desk", and it will give you the best of both worlds with the least amount of effort on your part. It's got some smart tech hidden in it and a thermal presence sensor that will activate the capacitive touchscreen—about
the size of an iPhone.
It lets you swipe and tap to allow you to navigate the interface which controls preset heights. It also clocks in the calories you're burning in either position.
The table is smart too. It will learn your habits, and then suggest a position change with a one inch up or down maneuver to mimic the pace of a human breath.
Will people adopt smart desks soon? Does this table have too much tech? The desk retails for $3,890 USD, and it is definitely quite prohibitive in price.
However, if you're keen, it might just be a good investment. Sign up at Stir for pre-order and shipping info.

By using the correct steps, you can extend the Wi-Fi network range across your home and office. Read more
