Projectors aren't just for showing slides and pie-charts, and this a short film titled "The Box" will show you why:
Produced by San Francisco-based design and engineering firm Bot & Dolly, the goal was to demonstrate just how projection mapping can be used to "radically transform theatrical presentations and define new genres of expression."
To pull it all off, they used two high-resolution projectors, two 2D monitors, three industrial robots (one for the camera) and one actor. Everything was then synchronized and controlled by integrating their own software with Autodesk's Maya.
