Flat pack products are cheaper and easier to ship around the world, but may suffer from some design sacrifices. Spain's Kutarq has come up a design for a lamp to have the best of both design and function.
Dubbed the Moitie, it almost looks as if you got cheated because its only half of the lamp. But the lamp, will actually mount onto included mirrors to complete the other half of the lamp. Using optical illusion, it's reflective backing helps bounce extra light around the room. Will this ever be a real product and not just a concept? Sounds really good! [Kutarq via Freshome]
