Artist Conrad Shawcross' Timepiece will double up as an art installation and a modern sundial. But wait, this one doesn't need the sun at all.

The Timepiece is intended to be a way to encourage people to re-think their concept of time. It can tell the time because it casts an ever evolving pattern of shadows that can be used to tell time because of the surrounding perimeter of 24 stoic pillars.
