Designed by London architects make, these crazy folding kiosks were apparently inspired by the Japanese art of paper-folding.

The shells made from lightweight aluminum allows the front door to open and close like a paper fan, creating a sort-of canopy to shelter visitors to these kiosks.

So far, two are currently being used in London's Canary Wharf with plans to build more some time soon. The project's architect Sean Affleck explains the concept as:
"Origami was fundamental in developing the design; the idea of a folding fan informed the design and folded paper models were used throughout the process, right up to the final testing of the completed design."
