If you've ever biked before, then you know you've got to them some shock absorbers in the front. Every serious biker knows that because that's the stuff of comfy!

Alter Cycles has a different approach to those bulky absorbers that attach near your wheel. They are integrating them into the frame. The company replaced the down tube on its bikes with a flexible bow.

the down tubes vary flexibility, and a biker can fine tune their ride from soft to stiff, which can also depend on the terrain they are on. The Alter Cycles bike should sell for around $800, while the various down tube options should run anywhere from $75 to $100, with off-road versions also enroute.
