There are plenty of kitchen gadgets available in the market, but one new Kickstarter wants to make sure that their long-lasting designs gets passed down from generation to generation. And to do this, they're starting out by redesigning the ice cream scoop. 



The Belle-V looks more like a sculptural object than a spoon. This aluminum scoop comes with an elongated side that creates a "lip" for catching the ice cream. The design team created at least 15 prototypes just to ensure the handle scooped just right.

The final product comes in four finishes, and will cost between $40 to $250. The company also intends to redesign a whole line of kitchen products. Learn more by visiting their official Kickstarter page
