Researchers from the National Taiwan University have created a building block toy that interacts with apps on a touchscreen tablet.
The toy is called GaussBricks, and they are pieces that use magnets to connect to each other and is accompanied by a tablet app that is able to detect and recreate their position, pivot points, and movement on screen.
The sensors will track the magnets in the toys and relay the info to the app which can rebuild it in a 2D version of whatever that is assembled on the screen. Kids will get more than just tapping on a touchscreen.
