Judging by this trailer which ran during the movie's premier last month, it looks like director Robert Rodriguez is really milking this franchise for all it's worth. The director has reportedly signed on to direct a third Machete movie, but whether it would actually be "In Space!", only time will tell.

But let's face it, Danny Trejo wielding a light-machete while wearing a space suit is something that just needs to happen. So here's crossing our fingers that the movie deal goes through!
