Ward was born three and half months early. He had several health obstacles to overcome. First, he weighed less than two pounds and he suffered from severe bleeding in his brain. But the little guy is a tough one.

Ward's father, photographer Benjamin Scot documented his child's emotional journey and gave the final project to his wife, Lyndsey for her birthday.
