This Hot "Plus-Sized" Model is Declaring War on The Fashion Industry

Model Iskra Lawrence looks anything but plus-sized. So it's a wonder she's got that kind of label on her. In fact, there's nothing in her pictures to suggest that. So now she's declaring war on the fashion industry.
She says:
I HATE that term. It’s used by fashion publications and websites to indicate that a woman has curves without saying explicitly that she has curves. It’s kind of a clever synonym editors use in empowering body image posts to tip-toe around pissing models off.
But the reality is that SOME women who *don’t* consider themselves “curvy” or “plus-sized” or whatever get offended by that type of categorization, just because their body type goes against a modeling norm. It actually *is* kind of insulting when you really think about it. Like back in 2012, Christina Hendricks almost lost her shit when the reporter referred to her as a “full-figured woman” in a television interview.
Anyway, /end rant. I just don’t think there’s anything necessarily “plus-sized” by this British lass Iskra Lawrence. The term “plus-sized” suggests some sort of traditional norm that she’s compared against. She’s just a beautiful chick who isn’t built like a twig and takes sexy ‘grams. Plenty of wonderful babes like that in the proverbial ocean.
