Do you ignore or spurn disdainfully at people you check out on your Facebook feed? Are you addicted to your phone so much that you're looking at it all the time? If you are, then you've most likely snubbed someone with your phone, or have been snubbed by someone else before.
The scientific term for that is called 'Phubbing.' It's a mashup of snub and phone.
To phub or to be phubbed by someone usually happens if you're around the ages of 12 and 42.
And it probably happens every other hour.
