Get ready to have your mind blown. There's an actual documentary titled "The Principle" which discusses geocentricism, a belief that claims the Earth is a special place in the center of the universe and is the only planet with forms of life on it.

And apparently, 20 percent of the U.S. population actually believe that the sun revolves around the earth. Wow.

A project by ultra-conservative (and anti-Semitic) Robert Sungenis, the trailer is narrated by "Orange Is the New Black" actress Kate Mulgrew, and features famous physicists Michio Kaku and Lawrence Krauss. Watch the bizarreness unfold below:



The trailer eventually went viral, and some folks involved either claimed that the footage and statements were used without permission, or that they really don't believe in this sort of thing. We're guessing that anything is possible these days, as long as it comes with a signed check.
