Looks like all those hours spent chasing virtual animal hybrids are about to pay off big time. This latest video from Google's maps division will explain everything:



So how exactly does one participate in this "Pokémon Challenge"? You need to have the most recent version of the Google Maps App in your device. Launch the app and click the search bar. You'll see a Pokéball and a button that says "Press start."



And that's where the fun really begins. Just scroll around the map to spot all the little Pokémon figures and Pokémon-style houses. You'll have to search all over the globe to find and catch (or click) all 150 of the critters.
