As you probably know by now, the country singer was picked to both open and close Victoria's Secret annual runway show.



While other artists like Fall Out Boy were also on hand to perform, there was no doubt that Taylor was the one put on the pedestal. The hour-long special even featured a segment dedicated to the models like Karlie Kloss praising the singer's talent.

And there's good reason for that. Victoria's Secret was probably counting on pandering their goods to the singer's ardent fan base. She is after all adored by millions of teenage girls and young women across the U.S. and worldwide. And that's exactly the type of shopper Victoria's Secret is trying to attract.

And since Taylor has so much sway on her fans, we wouldn't be surprised if Victoria's Secret will benefit big time by making Swift the star of the show.
