Thanks to Miley Cyrus, 2013 was the year that just about everyone thought it was cool to stick out your fuzzy tongue for all the world to see. But it seriously needs to stop, right now.

While the pop star might not be the first to establish this trademark, we just can't imagine having to endure younger generations thinking it's okay to look like this all the time:
