Katy Perry unveiled PrismLights on Monday - an interactive website compiling Instagram photos tagged with #KatyUnconditionally onto a map. The pop star wants fans on Instagram to show her and other fans what unconditional love means to them.
"Unconditionally" is Perry's latest single from her fourth studio album, Prism. Perry's teams partnered with digital agency Icon Interactive to launch the project.
"Katy has always said her new album Prism is all about letting the light in, and she wanted to hear from the fans what or who lights up their lives," said Bob Semanovich, Capitol Music Group's senior vice president of marketing.
The interactive map shows the countries and continents in a prism shape and they become more illuminated as more photos are uploaded. Visitors can view the photos and their captions by clicking around the map.
