It's normal to see all kinds of creepy things during this time of year, but this ingenious “Stoptober” campaign will really hit a sore spot among smokers.



Created by British online clinic HealthExpress, these masks were designed by prostheses experts based on the ravaging effects of tobacco use.

The masks come complete with rotten yellow teeth, a hole in the trachea, and gangrenous skin. Volunteers wearing the masks will wander around the streets and hand out pamphlets in cities known to have high smoking populations.

You have to admit, you'd probably think twice about puffing out in public after bumping into this.
