Movie Story:

Jhund begins with Manjule giving us an up-close look at the slum-dwellers of Gaddigodam, Nagpur, who live on the edge. From chain-snatching to illegal liquor sales, teenagers engage in a variety of unlawful activities. Vijay Borade (Amitabh Bachchan), a social worker and a sports coach at St John's School, is on the verge of retiring. When he sees a bunch of slum kids playing football with a plastic barrel on a wet day, he realises that he can use their secret potential to help them escape the dark alleyways of crime and addiction. Vijay gradually becomes friends with them and starts coaching them in football.
