Imagine going to Starbucks and paying with your credit card only to get the number stolen from an employee there. Martinez, who is a mother of children aged 2, 5, and 6, and has a husband who is in the military, said she wasn’t able to pay rent because of the theft. So she decided to confront the woman who stole her credit card.
“That was our rent money,” she told the Daily Mail. “My husband is in the military and I go to school. We both work our butts off to bring home money, I guess that’s why it hit me harder.”
