Women With Tattoos Have Higher Levels of Self-Esteem, Study Says

It seems women these days are getting more badass ink compared to men. And it's not just hot! It's daring. It's bold! And they look darn good with them too. According to a new study, women with tattoos report to having higher levels of self-esteem compared to women without.
The study was done by a Texas tech research team led by sociology professor Jerome Koch.
They surveyed 2,395 students from six universities to find the correlation between tattoos and self-esteem, depression, and suicide attempts.
59% of the respondents were female.
82% were between 18 and 20-years-old.
The analysis reveals that women with four or more tattoos reported higher levels of self-esteem.
