She's got the looks for it. But she's not making use of that. Instead, she's switching careers. Paige VanZant went from being a model to being a UFC fighter. At 21-years-old, she has a 6-1 fighting record already and is ranked 7th in the women's strawweight division.

VanZant grew up dancing and cheerleading before she became a model and actress.

She's modeled for clothing brands like Nike and Columbia Sportswear.

It was her dad that convinced her to go and try it out.

She fell in love with the sport and won her first amateur fight when she was 18 and her first pro fight in 2012.

Her debut took place at UFC Fight Night in Austin against Kailin Curran in November 2014. She defeated her opponent in three rounds.

She is the second-youngest female fighter in UFC.

And presumably because of her pretty face, she's one of the most highly requested fighters for interviews from Sports Illustrated and Fox Sports.

It's hard to imagine fighters can actually look this good.

VanZant wants to break stereotypes and prove that she's even tougher than she seems.

“There’s a lot of girls out there that can relate to me. They can look at me and see themselves a little bit. There’s a lot of girls out there that have a tougher side to them. I just think that people are really grown and attracted to that and that’s why people like to see me fight.”

Will she be the next big thing?
