In a classic case of expectations vs reality, pop culture has painted a picture of what is the ideal for love, and a lot of us have that in our heads. We tend to portray that ideal towards the people we date, or the people that we fall in love with. But will romantic moments from film actually happen in real life? Chances are, no.
1. Romantic line of course, but showing up at the last minute to declare love doesn't really happen.
2. If your man's best friend does this to you, he's not your man's best friend.
3. Kissing in the rain. Who the hell does this?
4. Getting a makeover for one day and have the whole world fall in love with you. It's possible. Wouldn't rule this one out. But if your guy suddenly likes you because you look like this, then he isn't the one for you.
5. Falling in love with someone whom you've not met in person. Highly unlikely, but not impossible. But will probably never happen to you.
6. Falling in love with a time traveler. Possible, if they travel from different time zones around the world. (LOL?)
7. If you're not honest about who you are, your S.O. will still love you. But that's only in the movies, kids. Only in the movies.
8. Falling in love with the prostitute you banged. It happens in real life to some, but really now?
9. Finding love while looking for gloves. Right. This happens. All the time, okay.
10. A public announcement of love rarely happens, unless it's for an engagement.
11. Falling in love with your one-night-stand after getting knocked up.
12. Making out with your ghost bf. Creepy. And also, probably won't happen.
13. Obviously, scientifically impossible for the moment.
14. Empty promises. That's what will happen in real life.
15. Would you listen to your kid's love-life advice? What does he know?
16. Most women would just jet if the guy they like doesn't reciprocate them feelings.
17. Your date doing this in public. Nope. Won't happen.
