As you get older, your circle of friends gets smaller. Hardly anyone new will enter that circle, and it will only get smaller as you age. That's life. Why is it so hard to make new friends as adults?

Because we're all assholes when we grow up?

Or is it the environment that's stopping us?

Maybe it's because we judge way too quickly as we get older?

New adult friendships are very very rare.

Unless they are work related.

Even this is easier:

How hard is it to make new friends as an adult?

Making new friends take a lot of effort.

   Nearly impossible. Too much effort.

Easy at first. Then it all goes to hell.

I'm a friend magnet. I attract them like flies!
