The video was shot in a dressing room in Uniqlo's flagship store in Beijing. The Internet not only figured where it was shot at but who the two subjects were.
The video indicated that the woman met the man while shopping.
People woke up to find their Weibo trending with a sex tape. Obviously, things went viral from there.
At first, people thought it was a publicity stunt from Uniqlo.
The video got millions of shares in a couple of hours, and many thought it was a good PR strategy. Except, it wasnt! Uniqlo China posted a statement on its official Weibo account denying that it was a publicity strategy, since, they are a family-friendly brand after all.
