Model and mom Amanda Booth began sharing pictures of her son Micah on Instagram. And then, thousands of people fell in love with him. He's not even a year old yet but he's got 15,000 followers now.
Amanda Booth is a model and actress, and she's been in quite a few campaigns.
This is her son, Micah.
When he was three months old, Micah was diagnosed with Down Syndrome.
She and her husband didn't know of his condition before he was born, but a nurse told them it was possible he had Down syndrome because of his eye shape.
After an initial shock, Booth did what any loving mother would. "Go into this headfirst, and not be afraid."
Booth describes his son as "the most fun-loving, spunky, determined baby I have ever met."
Micah's Instagram was started to share pictures with friends and family, and not as an advocacy account.
But soon more people started to follow. And Micah is a natural and loves looking at the camera.
She signed him with her modeling agent and hopes they can do bookings as a family, and would be great if Micah could get his own too.
Her goal in sharing her family's photos is to bring hope to other families who have children with Down syndrome.
