Geof Grubb's daughter Layla needed to wear an eye patch, and to make her not feel weird about it, he decided to make it fun instead. He customized a different eye patch design for her every single day since she's worn it.
Layla was born with a small cataract in her right eye and needs to wear an eye patch for 2 hours a day.
This helps her vision development in the eye and will hopefully prevent her from needing surgery.
Her dad decided to make the experience fun for her by customizing her an eye patch every day.
His designs started to get more impressive with each latest eye patch.
Layla is 1 now and will need to wear the eye patch until she's 4 years old.
Looks like Layla is totally cool with it too.
Geof told thubump.com, "My inspiration is mostly pop culture things that I think will be funny or cute. My family gives me ideas, too."
Here's more eye patch designs Geof has made for Layla on their Instagram page.
