I'm not sure what's the allure of mud, but there's a festival for it in South Korea, and a lot of people attend this to throw mud and have fun in it. Basically, it's the dirtiest festival you can ever think of.
It started in 1998 to promote and celebrate cosmetic products made with mud from the Boryeong mud flats, but later turned into an attraction of sorts.
Millions of people would here to enjoy the muddy festivals. And damn, it actually looks fun.
