Gender equality is definitely not widespread just yet. And here's some sad proof of it. Lebanese TV host Rima Karaki found herself arguing with a guest on her show after he would not answer her questions because she was a woman.
Muslim scholar Hani Al Seba'i had been invited to join a discussion on the recent wave of Christians joining ISIS. But instead of talking about that, he talked about historical precedent.
When Karaki asked him to focus on the current day, he said, “Are you done? Shut up so I can talk.”
She asked him how could he be so rude?
And then he replied it was beneath him to be interviewed by her:
