Here is a bizarre and sad story of a woman suffering from a very weird condition. Duangjay Samaksamam's condition is very painful and has caused her hands and arms to swell to a tremendous size.

Each hand weighs a stone and a half.


Her condition is known as macrodystrophia lipomastosa, which causes large amounts of fat to build up in her hands and arms. Barcroft Media says she spent the first 20 years of her life in recluse. It's quite a sad story actually. She eventually went to work to support her parents.


Doctors have been unable to help her. “Some doctors said the only solution was to cut off my hands if I wished to walk around freely. But I don’t want to do that.”



Hopefully, they find a way to help her soon in the future.
