This cafe is unlike any other. It is located near the summit of Mount Tomamu in Hokkaido, Japan. It is where you can drink a cup of coffee on top of a sea of rolling clouds. The view is breathtaking.
Named Unkai Terrace, Unkai means sea of clouds.
Only those who climbed the mountain were rewarded of this view, up until now.
There's a gondola ride, which takes 13 minutes to get to the terrace.
The only challenge is waking up early because sun rise starts at 4am.
The chances of seeing the Unkai is around 40 percent, depending on the weather.
The view is definitely worth while.
