Ikea made news recently when they sent a cease and desist order to the wonderful Ikeahackers.net site. That didn't earn them a lot of fans, but while that is still playing out, they've come up with something cool as well. They just built the first
website-within-a-website on a social network.
Here's the latest product. You don't even have to build it yourself.
The company's Russian ad company used Instagram's tagging feature and a grid system to create a website-within-a-website for their 2014 PS collection. Very brilliant.
All you have to do is tap on the photo, and each item is tagged with the product names. It will lead you to its individual profile pages with product info and more images. There are over 34 Instagram accounts in their collection.
