Brooklyn-based artist Hannah Kunkle's project is called "The Passion of Kim Kardashian". It reimagines the reality TV queen as a variety of religious icons, from the Virgin Mary to the Indian goddess Kali. Sounds sacrilegious doesn't it?
Religious communities weren't amused by Kunkle's work with many calling it deplorable, irrelevant and disrespectful. The reason she chose Kim was because she's everywhere we look and we know just about everything about her life. She's unavoidable!
