The Nipple Bikini Tricks People Into Thinking You're Topless.. But You're Not! [NSFW]
Jun 26, 2014 23:28
Hello there! Are you topless? No, folks. You're looking at the Tata Top. It looks like boobs, but it is actually a bikini top. And most of us would agree that it looks a tad indecent. Part inspired by the #FreeTheNipple movement, which aims to advocate the desexualization of women's breast, we're not sure if the Tata Top actually helps with that. Everything else below the post is NSFW:
Designed by Robyn Graves and Michelle Lytle, they were fed up that women couldn't bare their boobs at the beach. Seriously? Is that a thing now?
Here's what they say on their website:
“Why can’t girls be topless? If you really think about it, what’s the difference between a man’s nipples and a woman’s? Is it really just the extra breast tissue? Is it the fact that women’s nipples are paired with a vagina?” they wrote. “Is it the presence of a real and true female nipple bare to the world that is so offensive, that is so horrid that it must be kept covered?"
For now, the TaTa Top only comes in skin tone colors. And in our opinion, a colorful TaTa Top wouldn't work as well.
Check out some pics found on their Instagram account:
1. Wearing the top to a beach technically doesn't break any laws.
2. But it does make things a tad awkward, don't you think?
3. They've even prepared different colored skin and nipples!
4. On the bright side, you'll win at beach games!
5. And you'll get people looking at you, but not because you're hot.
6. We're not sure if you would get arrested for indecent exposure though.
7. This is so realistic, because everyone runs errands looking this way..
Would you wear one? The sale of each Tata Top goes towards the Lynn Sage Cancer Foundation.
