You probably have your own beauty regime already, and chances are, you've been doing the same thing over, and over again. Here's a list that will shock you, showing you how some of the things you're doing may be causing more harm than good.
For instance, you could be causing split-ends and damaging your hair without even knowing it. Check out some of the common mistakes you and me and everyone else are guilty of.
1. Drying your hair by rubbing it between the towel can cause frizz.
We're all guilty of this. I do this everyday. Chances are, I still might. But anyway, instead of doing that, wrap your hair in the towel and firmly press it down with the towel.

Diva Likes2. Don't spray perfume on your hair.
Doing this will dry your hair out quicker than usual. If you want your hair to smell like perfume, spray it on your hands first and clap them to make the alcohol evaporate and glide your hands through your hair.

Be Voguish3. Do not put hair products in when your hair is wet.
Wait for your hair to dry before adding products. When it is wet, it harder for the product to attach to the strands.

Yahoo4. Don't lip liner before your lipstick.
The lip liner will glide on smoother than on bare lips. So make sure you apply lipstick first, before that!

You don't want too much makeup getting caked up into the expression lines your forehead makes throughout the day.

Prevention6. Keep your distance from the mirror when plucking your eyebrows.
Being too close can cause you to pluck too much in between. You definitely don't want a gap.

Sophisticated Edge7. Don't shave your legs after soaking 15-20 minutes in the tub.
Your skin will wrinkle up causing the razor to be ineffective. It won't be able to glide smoothly, and you'll be left with a lousy shave.

Good To Know9. Don't brush your hair when it's wet, use a comb to detangle it first.
Wide-toothed combs slip through easily and don't cause breakage, so remember this!

You can try an illuminating concealer instead, and choose the same color as your foundation. The circles will be masked and the illuminating particles will brighten up your face.

Stila Blog11. Learn how to file your nails.
File your nails in ONE direction. There's less chance of your nail breaking if you do this.

Our Vanity12. Don't rub your wrists together after spritzing on perfume.

Bath and Body Find15. Condition your hair, but not so much!
Use very small amounts of conditioner, since your scalp gets moisturized by your natural oils. You don't need too much of it.
