An Israeli mother, whose son has cerebral palsy, invented a device called the Upsee that will make it significantly easier for parents and their disabled children to take walks together.
Debby Elnatan's son Rotem has difficulties moving around, or walk. The Upsee makes this simple form of bonding a lot easier. It features special sandals that accommodate both parent and child's feet, as well as a harness that keeps the child upright and secure.
Both parent and child can walk together with a shuffling gait similar to which parents use when teaching their children to dance.
The device will hit the starting April 7th at US$500
