24-year old stylists Lucy Greene and Pandora Lennard have set up 'Anti-Agency', a modeling agency where the selection criteria is based on personality, individual style, and talent.
It's a major progressive move in the modeling industry, where it's common to have models based on height, weight and a certain type of look. The UK-based team even feature individuals with piercings, tattoos, and colorful hair.
The statement they wanted to make is that “the agency is for people who could've been models and decided not to, for people who are too cool to be models and people with real lives on the verge of exploding in music, fashion, art, illustration & creative industries etc.”
Before you think this radical move was a step in the wrong direction, Anti-Agency have already cast models for well-known brands like Dr. Martens, Versus, Uniqlo, ASOS, Urban Outfitters, and Liberty of London.
