Mercury lost his two front legs in an accident when he was just four days old. But instead of giving up on life, he's since beaten the odds and has become an inspiration that while life may treat you to lemons at times, there's no reason you can't make lemonade out of it.

Mercury's penchant for life is fiery. He's adorable, and is known for being pretty sassy at times.

Mercury has adapted to his handicap to the point where he doesn't even notice he's different from other cats. Who needs four legs when you've got two?

His humans say that Mercury is happy and is in no pain.
And he's a ball of fun to be around with.
