Previously Kara members were reported to have part ways as Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara have left DSP Media to focus on acting while Youngji remained in the agency as she still have some times left in her contract.
Following the report, DSP Media has confirmed the group's disbandment through a press release as Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara' contracts have expired today on January 15th. The agency said they will keep cheering for the members on their new paths. They also said to do their best and support Youngji in her future' solo activities.
