Popular South Korean boy band SS501 held a concert in Taiwan on Saturday, attracting more than 12,000 fans from across Asia to the Taipei Arena.
The five-member boy band gave a three-hour performance during which they sang 22 songs, including those from their previous albums and upcoming mini-album "Rebirth".
The concert was part of their first Asia tour which took off on in Seoul in August and are set to perform in several more countries including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore till early next year.
Meanwhile, SS501 will make a comeback to the local music scene this week for the first time in a year and seven months, starting with making an appearance on KBS Music Bank on Friday.
A special version of their album will be released tomorrow followed by a regular version two days later.
SS501, who debuted in June 2005, is one of the most popular K-pop acts in Asia. The group has had numerous hits singles in Korea and Japan, and some of the members have branched out to acting and the musical theater as well.
