Solo singer Evan left Korea on May 16th, U.S.-bound, to receive surgery for a cyst on his vocal chords.
According to his entertainment company, EbyM Entertainment, during his promotional activities for his third album, Evan felt?an abnormality in his throat. Doctors later confirmed it to be a cyst on his vocal chords. Though it wasn't anything too serious, the younger artist wanted his throat to be in the best condition possible for his fans. Thus, Evan immediately took action by hopping on a flight to the US where he plans on getting the cyst removed. He plans on also?taking a few days off for rest and recuperation before returning to Korean on the 20th.
EbyM also added that they expect Evan to pick up on his activities from where he left off and that there shouldn't be any problems for him to return on stage after his return.
