Korean boy band Supernova will resume their activities in Japan at the end of this month, according to their agency Maru Entertainment on Thursday.
Maru announced in a press release that the boys will be returning to Japan on September 21 and their DVD box set will go on sale the following day.
The DVD set will feature their album "Hop Step Clipping," a DVD that includes video clips from their concerts, and the movie titled "君にラヴソングを (A Love Song For You)," starring the members of Supernova which was released in the country in May.
"Despite the earnest request from Universal Music Japan, the boys very difficultly made time to promote their first mini-album 'Time To Shine' in Korea for about a month," explained an official from Maru. "But we decided to go to Japan again since we could no longer delay their activities in the country."
Supernova's career in Japan has fared well so far -- all nine of their single albums released in the country since their debut last year have placed within the top 6 on the prestigious Oricon chart.
The six-member group is also scheduled to hold three concerts in Japan with shows in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo on October 2, 4 and 6, respectively.
Supernova made their debut in Korea in 2007 with their album "The Beautiful Stardust" and gained popularity through the collaboration projects "T.T.L (Time to Love)" and "T.T.L Listen 2" with girl group T-ara last year.
